Randomness:

^ I like to dye my hair often so this time I chose to go back to getting high lights. It's a tad bit blonder than I wanted it to be, but I'll live. I'm still getting used to it though since I've had my hair a solid color for awhile. Overall, I really like it! (The lighting makes me look super pale..)

^ One of the things I love about this time of year: the delicious Easter candies that are available in stores during spring time! :) Robin eggs are one of my favorites, but you can only get them once a year (I really wish they'd be available year-round!). I usually end up buying a stash of Easter candy because they're so yummy! I will definitely be buying some more within the next few months!

Current Nails:

This is what I'm wearing on my nails at the moment. The lime green color is from OPI's Shrek Collection in "Fiercely Fiona." On top of that, I have on "Black Shatter" from OPI's Katy Perry Collection.

^ Fiercely Fiona

^ Black Shatter

What's interesting about the Black Shatter nail polish is the effect that it creates on your nails. First, you apply any regular nail polish onto your nails (I prefer to use a bright color because it contrasts that black). Then, you apply one layer of the Black Shatter onto your nails. As it dries it begins to shatter leaving you with cracks on the nail. Each nail will be left with a different shattering pattern. Also, the polish actually dries pretty quickly. * Tip: I would just use a thin layer of the Black Shatter. I find that when I apply a thick coat the lines aren't as defined, rather it leaves you with large-looking, chunky lines.

Makeup: My Obession

I'm totally obsessed with makeup. Although my collection isn't as big as other makeup collectors' I still think that it's quite large for a average girl. I officially started to collect makeup right after high school. I wasn't really into it that much before that. I don't really know what really sparked my interest on it though. I find that now I'm totally intrigued by it. Every time I go to the store, I have to stop by the makeup aisle. I can honestly say that it makes me happy to look at and/or buy makeup. Whether it's drug store or high end, I love it all!

At this point, most of the items in my collection are drug store (though I'm beginning to buy more high end items). I have a lot of stuff laying around that I bought a long time ago when I didn't know which was of better quality or not. Now I've started to buy more items that are good quality (excellent pigmentation, long wear, etc.). I definitely think that my judgment has improved a lot since I first started collecting. However, I'm always up to trying new makeup products.

So far, I'm content with my collection, and I know that it will continue to expand! :)

* Of course I'm not a professional by any means; makeup is just a hobby of mine. <3
